"The Silver Mage was the archmage of all elves in Qualawey, the Silver Empire. His power was beyond imagination due to the white silver veins burned into his flesh, an honour no other quala elf could hope to receive - at least by the law.

Anathulyan was a rather reserved man. He spent days in his laboratory, often neglecting his duties, but always working on ways to improve the magic his people used so often and so ably. To outsiders he showed another face, namely that of an ignorant and racist tyrant. The Silver Mage hated everything and everyone that he thought came to the isles unbidden, most of all the winged hoeseph and men. He couldn't care less about their deeds until war broke out, but than it was already too late. A whole empire died on his careless hands."
